Hello.

As early as I could remember, I have always been a very curious and adventurous person. I relish every moment I experience in this world. From the scents to the sights to the sounds, and to the textures, I satiate the emotions I experience from these senses. They make me realize the joys and the complexities of life itself.

 

I have always been so fascinated with the world so much so that when I was young I would often get lost. It was probably very traumatic for my mother because, at some point, my mum actually stopped letting me come with her wherever she went because I would instantly disappear the moment she moved her gaze away from me. These experiences have molded me to become more adept and intricate towards my surroundings that, once when I was ten, I have actually gotten myself astray amidst the bustling alleyways of Hong Kong. But due to my aforementioned history, I was able to develop passive awareness of my surroundings which abled me to recall the stores, paths, colours, and buildings that I passed by throughout the day and thus I was able to manage to bring myself back to the hotel safe and sound. It actually boded well for me because since then, I have been given more freedom to explore the world on my own and at my own pace. Such experiences have translated well for me as an aspiring designer too, as it has made me more elaborate and detailed in my work.

 

My creations are basically a result of those little experiences and emotions I encountered growing up. Art and Design became an outlet for me to materialize the little moments in life. At first, art was just a guilty pleasure for me in order to escape reality but as time went by, I realized the power and influence of art and design on our society. It has the power to open one's mind and allow us to physically manifest our little perspectives of life. Through my works, I hope to inspire others and widen their horizons just as how this world was able to open the eyes of the younger me and see beyond the blacks and whites of this little blue speck.
